ABOUT CLINICAL STRENGTH EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
The clinical strength ideal came through a personal lifelong journey firstly from a love of sports, an interest in the human body, a learned importance of fitness and health over time and the formal study of exercise science, rehabilitation and health care. These lessons further integrated with an ever-evolving tutelage of lifting, strength training and high-quality movement created the personal concept of Clinical Strength Exercise Physiology.
"Clinical Strength EP is fundamentally about life and health through the teaching and delivery of person-centered allied health & rehabilitation, health education and strength & fitness"
"Care, training and education that is centered primarily around the principles of rehabilitation and preventative medicine, teaching the skills and know-how of lifting, strength and fitness principles and thus advocating and enabling a higher quality of life through sound movement capabilities, health & exercise habits and knowledge - catered for any type of person, in any stage of health, fitness or skill level"
From an allied health point, the benefits of exercise and movement for people cannot be understated - from nearly every aspect of health, wellness, fitness and performance, exercise has such immense power for the good. From a training perspective, with experience and observation over time, the best outcomes time and time again came about by striving for better movement standards, adequate strength levels, learning real gym skills and actual competency of basic lifts and a focus on simplicity and reasonable training for normal people.
The significant overlap of this exercise philosophy and rehabilitative outcomes naturally evolved into practice in Clinical Exercise Physiology, with a specific focus on clients and patients learning and achieving a higher level of exercise, strength and movement quality as the main driver of rehabilitation, general wellness and fitness outcomes. The technical nuance of coaching and administering the requisite skills for adequate movement and strength quality is a standard that sets Clinical Strength E.P. apart from most other practices.
The time taken, attention to detail and ability to teach lifts, movements, troubleshoot issues and administer the exercise dose appropriately is such a significant gap within allied health, medicine, sports and general fitness - usually through lack of skill, experience and ability to "walk the walk" of exercise, strength, training quality and coaching by practitioners. Whether it be for pain management, injury or illness to general fitness goals, the premium placed on the quality of your efforts is by far the most important element.
This is how Clinical Strength Exercise Physiology was born and this is the main point of difference - to truly maximize the substantial and vast health benefits of exercise through really showing you how to really move, lift, exercise and be.
